Benefit concert for flood victims held in Ashland, Ky.


COUNTY CAME TOGETHER FOR A CONCERT TO HELP THOSE AFFECTED BY THE FLOODING IN WEST VIRGINIA. ORGANIZERS ARRANGED A 9-HOUR BENEFIT CONCERT AT CALLIHAN’S PUB AND GRILL AT THE KYOVA MALL. AS ANDREW COLGROVE REPORTS… STATE LINES AREN’T A FACTOR WHEN IT COMES TO FOLKS PITCHING IN DURING A TIME OF NEED. HEADING INTO THE 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND — FOLKS IN EASTERN KENTUCKY ARE REMEMBERING THEIR NEIGHBORS ACROSS THE OHIO RIVER, WHO ARE HURTING. “i can’t imagine having to go through anything like that.” CALLIHAN’S AMERICAN PUB AND GRILL AT THE KYOVA MALL, KNOWN FOR HAVING LIVE MUSIC.
