Big clean up ahead for Dunedin following deluge

Dunedin residents are facing
a huge clean-up effort today after riding out the tail-end
of a severe storm. 150 households are without power, and more than a dozen roads are still blocked
by slips and fallen trees after parts of the city
were overwhelmed by floodwaters. Easing rain overnight
meant emergency crews had fewer than a dozen callouts. Yesterday they dealt
with more than 400 incidents.
