Bizarre creature washed up in aftermath of Japanese tsunami has baffled online viewers

A strange creature that washed up in the aftermath
of the Japanese tsunami has baffled online viewers who claim they have no idea what it
is. Video footage, shot by a survivor of the devastating
natural disaster, shows a huge white whale-like creature washed up among debris left behind
after the flood. The zoomed-in footage shows the bizarre animal
from several different angles, but it is difficult to tell exactly what is. Some viewers are suggesting the creature is
just a whale, or a squid, although others are convinced it is a species that has never
been discovered before. Footage of strange creatures being washed
up after the tsunami have emerged online ever since the disaster in 20 11. More than 15,000 people were killed in the
9.0-magnitude earthquake which occurred on March 11, devastating many of Japan’s coastal
towns as well as unleashing the worst nuclear crisis in a quarter of a century. A further 340,000 people were displaced after
the disaster, with a shortage of food, water and shelter causing problems for survivors
across the country.
