Borumba Dam camp ground’s future looking bright

The future is looking bright for the Borumba Dam Camping Ground with new managers announced and an upgrade planned by Seqwater for the popular site. Tourist operators Ezy Adventures have been appointed as manager of the camping ground with the site now re-opened ahead of the summer holidays following a brief, temporary closure. Brothers Terry and Peter Holliday of Ezy Adventures said they had big plans to turn the site into something special. My brother has been in the tourism industry for over 30 years and the family has been in hospitality for many years and we very much enjoy the hospitality industry and tourism industry. And we get a lot of job satisfaction from making sure people have a great time when they’re on holidays. We found Borumba Dam and the general Mary Valley to be a beautiful part of the world. It’s not often – these places don’t often have as big of a profile as you think they would because it’s a little bit of paradise. It’s elevated. It’s mountainous. It’s countryside. And it’s also not too far from the Sunshine Coast. So i think that you can really relax here and you can really enjoy yourself here and that’s why we like it. Seqwater is also making a significant investment towards refurbishing the camping ground facilities, installing more water-efficient saving devices and improving traffic management of the site. In addition, Stage 2 of the Borumba Dam Boat Ramp Upgrade has also been recently completed in conjunction with the Department of National Parks Sport and Racing.
