Coastal flood warning in place

STORM. EMILY: SERA CONGI IS IN SANDWICH WITH THE CONDITIONS THERE RIGHT NOW. GOOD MORNING, SERA. SERA: GOOD MORNING, EMILY AND RANDY. RIGHT NOW, THINGS ARE VERY CALM. THERE’S A GENTLE SNOWFALL. THERE HASN’T BEEN THAT MUCH SNOW ACCUMULATION OVERNIGHT HERE ON THE COAST. YOU REALLY CAN’T SEE IT RIGHT NOW, BUT THAT IS WATER. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO PICK UP OVER THE COURSE OF THE MORNING. GUSTS EXPECTED TO BE 50-PLUS. AND ALSO FLOODING EXPECTED TO BE A PROBLEM WITH HIGH TIDE STARTING AT 11:00 A.M. BUT RIGHT NOW THINGS ARE VERY CALM. WE KNOW THAT STORY WILL DEFINITELY CHANGE. OUR DRIVE DOWN WAS A TALE OF TWO CITIES, REALLY, WHEN WE WERE OFF CAPE, IT WAS SNOWY AND TREACHEROUS. AS WE CAME DOWN, THINGS STARTED TO CLEAR UP. WHAT IS FALLING IS SOMEWHAT WET. THAT’S CERTAINLY GOING TO MAKE THINGS DANGEROUS OVER THE COURSE OF THE MORNING.
