Flash flood warning for Person, Granville counties

HAS TURNED INTO A STORMY NIGHT. AS YOU CAN SEE WE ARE STILL LOOKING AT A FLASH FLOOD WARNING . I’M TALKING NORTH OF THE OXFORD AREA. FROM ROXBOROUGH DOWN TO TIMBERLAKE. 2-3 INCHES OF — INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN. THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS. THE PROBLEM IS, THERE IS A BAND OF RAIN THAT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE OVER THE SAME AREA. HEAVY RAIN WITH LIGHTNING EXTENDS BACK TO THE TRIAD. AND SOME GUSTY WINDS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IS STILL NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION. WE ALSO HAVE A CLUSTER OF STORMS SOUTHWEST OF THE TRIANGLE MOVING INTO PARTS OF WARD COUNTY. HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS ARE PRODUCING AN ACTIVE THUNDERSTORM WARNING TO THE SOUTHWEST. IN MARCH IS RIGHT UP HIGHWAY ONE. THESE STORMS ARE GONE BY YOUR TUESDAY MORNING COMMUTE. TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO LOW
