  1. Hey Watchers! Shane here! Thanks for watching the premiere of Puppet History! I hope you had as much fun watching it as we had making it. We’ve got more episodes coming your with some very fun guests and plenty of singing puppets. Stay tuned!

    Episode 2 – February 27th, 2020
    Episode 3 – April 9th, 2020
    Episode 4 – May 21st, 2020

  2. Some of the jokes were too stale- I think the Professor needs to find his own persona… he is just neutral to me. Not too funny nor too boring. I can tell how much Shane worked on this, I really hope this series pick up the pace!

  3. Lol “The Big Sick”
I love you guys and I’m so excited for this channel to grow! Keep up the good work! 🤗🤗🤗

  4. Only the first episode of puppet history and I have still learnt more than I have in all of high school! 😂 shane is so entertaining!

  5. Ok I LOVE this and I'm actually kind of bummed that the next episode is so far away 😩

  6. It is weird to see Ryan getting along with Shane and not mocking him every two minutes. I mean I love this new setup and I am so glad a version of ruining history is back. I just hope they have that banter between them in the future episodes. That was one of the best things about them.

  7. Steven staring into the camera like he's on The Office while Ryan and Shane are debating which sounds better, THH-OOO-NN-KKK or DH-OOO-NN-KKK, is a mood.

  8. I can guarantee this series will be used as a teaching tool in schools, it’s too great not to.

  9. hans holbein goes around the world painting all of the beautiful girls, and also some skeletons apparently

  10. Ive said this before and I will say it again…this is ART. The sheer QUALITY is astounding. Major Horrible Histories vibes with a bit of QI and ofc The Hot Daga/Ruining History. It is so so good and I love it a lot.

  11. you can tell a lot of time and effort was put into making this, i love it

  12. The cutaway editing just make it seems incredibly disingenuous and fake. But if thats what you have to do to “make” the show, fuuuuck

  13. This. Was. Amazing! I loved every moment! Puppets are such an underrated medium for this sort of content and I am HERE for it! Also I love history and this was a really neat way to learn things! Love your work, Shane!

  14. the song death sang was good. i laughed lots and am looking forward to more watcher content!

  15. i'm so glad you're back! can't wait for more stuff
if you're able to maybe at one point in the future please think about adding actual subtitles and not automatic ones but i do hope this takes off!
wishing you guys all the best

  16. I loved this so much. P.s. I still miss "Ruining History" and I really want another episode of that too. I know i'm being greedy, but that show was great!

  17. You guys are great! Glad you went out on your own and wishing you all the best!

  18. brings back memories from ruining history
    well i'm glad that's history
now Shane gets to do this again without bussfeed

  19. This is the best thing I've ever seen and I'm not even exaggerating that much 😂

  20. I hope that by the end of the season, Shane will release official recordings of his songs. I really love his voice and would have all of his songs on repeat 24/7~

  21. very thankful for puppet history as a platform where shane can demonstrate his musical prowess and there's nothing anyone else can do to stop it

  22. This was the best thing ever! Death singing was so freaking hilarious! Are we going to get new puppets every time for a performance? Can we have a video of Shane making the puppets?

  23. Puppet History is amazing! I absolutely laughed my ass off. And I learned something as well. 🙂

  24. Omg I implore you all to listen to "Haus of Holbein" a bop about that artist that lived through the plague

  25. istg ive learned more in a 24 min video than in weeks of doing the black death in history literally a year ago lmfao

  26. This makes me want to become a history teacher, just so I could show the pupils this video 😂

  27. Can anyone tell me if Shane & Ryan are doing Buzzfeed at all anymore, or are they solely doing Watcher now?

  28. Can we just all talk about the death's talent? His singing? Wow! Very entertaining.

  29. ryan thought he was free from shane's musical antics when the hot daga got cancelled….. oh what a gool he was

  30. i love this so much i can't wait to see what you guys have in store next!!!!!!!!

  31. Ryan: “this is intolerable”
    Steven: “this is amazing!”

Shane has finally found someone to appreciate his musical numbers bless

  32. In Scotland, instead of saying ‘look out below’, you shouted ‘Gardy-loo’. It’s derived from French but I’m not sure on the translation other than it being like mind the water or something like that. Just think Gardy-loo is a fun way of warning haha

  33. Dang this is dark, I’m about to run out of screen time meaning I’ll be left to my own thoughts… thanks for the depressing thoughts

  34. I was already loving this, and then you throw in a musical number?! Boo, you too good to me😍

  35. I'm unnerved that it took me until a literal puppet show to realise that Shane sounds like Jim Henson…but y'know, a little more rapidfire and wry.

  36. shane absolutely stumbling through the transitions is the funniest fucking thing he’s doing so well

  37. Um so glad u guys made this Chanel u guys would always entertained in buzzfeed and I was like why don’t these guys have their own show? And seen your big announcement release about this Chanel💪🏼🤘🏼

  38. When I officially become a teacher , I’m referencing these videos and giving them as homework to watch em hahahaha

  39. I hope they do the Dancing Plague that Shane has been wanting to do for the longest time now in this segment of Watcher…

  40. I love this so much!! More than Ruining History. Please do so much more of this please 🙂
