Matthew 24:7-8. For nation will rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
@Nasser @Jordan, I dont understand the hat swapping. In my home we wear the Jesus hat 24/7/365 and every issue is addressed as best as we can through scripture. I believe that's your approach to it's just seems odd the way you say it. So interesting, I'm the husband and I too am often being the one addressing limits or week to week loads. My wife and I too believe and live as a team. Love the energy and approach Jordan. So much of what you've said I too have experienced with the Lord. Even your wording is so similar. For believers our fulfillment and meaningfulness will always revolve around the Lord in one way or another. He is our fulfiller. For young believers they just haven't experienced enough time with God yet. We, often, are farther down the same road they are on. We give them heads up as to what to expect or lend them insights about how to do certain things. Sorry for your loss Jordan. I too have experienced unimaginable loss but the Lord used that loss to grow me into who I am today. I had times I did a lot and other times I sat and cried and cried and cried. I had to learn to approach things without expectation and trust God to give me the outcomes He wanted. Something I've coined being lost in the dark side of the light. At times I had no strength at all and I got through my days by what God gave me. If He quit I would have quit. God never quit so I kept going. I met my wife at LU, and today we are 4 weeks away from our 2nd son working on our masters. Thank you @Nasser @Jordan. <3
