Magic spot, Kakadu, Northern Territory, Australia

Ah, good day, everyone. Here we are on the floodplains at the Yellow Waters, about halfway along the South Alligator River. At the moment, we are in the middle of the Wet season which is awesome time of the year because of the breeding season for a lot of the smaller birds. And so as we’re cruising up in that river, we’ll get to see the nests. Uhm, smaller birds nests… …fly catching and things like that. So, you know, this time of the year there’s not as much wildlife here as during the Wet season. But, these are magic time of the year. Lot of the barramundi coming upstream this morning, replenishing numbers for the next Dry season. Absolutely awesome fishing out here. Probably one of the best things about this place is to come out here and watch the crocodiles fight when the water levels get low. You know, when they fight for their territories. And when they take down some of the feral animals like the pigs, it’s pretty awesome. Magic spot.
