These storms were located along a line extending from Taneytown to New Market to 9 miles west of Damascus. and moving east at 35 mph. Locations impacted include: Green Valley, Mount Airy, Damascus, Westminster, Manchester, Sykesville, Hampstead, Gamber, Eldersburg, Oakland. A Tornado Watch is in effect for the warned area. This is a dangerous storm. If you are in it’s path, move indoors to a sturdy building, and stay away from windows. These severe storms extended from Garden View to Carroll to Penns Creek to Loysville to Dillsburg to Littlestown, moving northeast at 35 mph. These storms are capable of producing winds in excess of 60 mph. Locations included in the warning include: Williamsport and Duboistown, Spruce Run Reservoir and East Berlin, Loyalsockville and Elimsport, Montoursville and New Columbia, Thomasville and Codorus, Delaware Run and Selinsgrove. This will impact the following central Pennsylvania interstates: The Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 220 and 267, I-78 between mile markers 0 and 7, I-80 between mile markers 189 and 232, I-81 between mile markers 44 and 101, I-83 between mile markers 1 and 50, I-180 between mile markers 1 and 29, I-283.
