Ripley family of 6 sleeping when flash flood surrounded home

MIKE: FAMILY MEMBERS WILL HOLD A VIGIL AT THE SCENE TONIGHT AT ITS 30 P.M. — AT 6:30 P.M. SHEREE: THREE FAMILY MEMBERS KILLED IN A FLOOD, THE MOBILE HOME LIFTED. WE ARE LIVE IN THE COUNTY TONIGHT WITH MORE ON THIS STORY. THE FAMILY WAS AT HOME AND WAS ASLEEP WHEN THE FLOODWATERS CAME UP. THAT WAS THE FOUNDATION. THE FLOODWATERS CAME UP ALL AROUND HIM. THE WATER STARTED MOVING THEIR HOUSE ALONG WITH EVERYTHING ELSE DOWN HERE. THAT TRAILER COLLIDED. IT WENT BEHIND INTO THE TREES WHERE IT SLAMMED INTO THEM, DROPPING THE FAMILY INTO THE WATER. THEY NOW ECHO A TRAGEDY EVEN GREATER THAN THE DEBIT NATION LEFT BEHIND. A FLASH FLOOD AWAKENS A FAMILY OF SIX AND FINDS THEMSELVES TRAPPED IN EITHER MOBILE HOME, SURROUNDED BY WATER. AND THEIR MOTHER WHO WAS PREGNANT. SHE WAS A GOOD PERSON. THE STEPBROTHER LIVES RIGHT NEXT DOOR. HE WASN’T HOME. AND NEVER WILL BE AGAIN. THE FLASH FLOODS SO POWERFUL GRIPS THE PAVEMENT OFF THE ROAD. CARS INTO THE WATER JUST OUTSIDE RIPLEY. WHEN FIREFIGHTERS GOT THE CALL THAT A FAMILY WAS DUMPED INTO THE WATER — IT WAS A VERY STRESSFUL SITUATION AND CHAOTIC FOR THE FIRST HALF HOUR. CREWS WERE ABLE TO SAVE THE FATHER AND THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY IS STRUGGLING WITH THE LOSS. THERE IS A VIGIL SET TOMORROW NIGHT FOR 8:00 AT ST. MICHAEL’S IN RIPLEY. AND AT RIPLEY ELEMENTARY ON
