IT’S PROBABLY ABOUT 10 INCHES OF WATER THROUGH THE ROTARY THERE. BUT IT’S BEEN LAKE THIS. THE RAIN JUST LET UP ABOUT 10 MINUTES AGO, BUT THE RAIN WAS REALLY VERY — THE VISIBILITY WAS DOWN TO 100 YARDS, AND THE WIND WAS BLOWING. IT WAS — I TOLD ONE OF OUR EDITORS THIS IS LIKE BEING 18 MINI ALMOST HURRICANE, BECAUSE I’VE BEEN IN HURRICANES, AND IT WAS — WIND WAS BLOWING THE RAIN SIDEWAYS, AND YOU COULDN’T SEE 100 YARDS. IT WAS VERY INTENSE. BUT NOW AS WE’RE — WE ARE NOW IN NORTH FALMOUTH. LOW CLOUDS ALONG THE ROAD AS WE’RE APPROACHING FALMOUTH. BUT THE RAIN HAS MOVED OFF TO THE EAST, WHERE WE’RE GOING TO JOIN UP WITH ROUTE 151 MOMENTARILY AND HEAD EAST IN THE BACK END OF THE RAIN. BUT IT WAS VERY INTENSE FOR ABOUT 40 MINUTES DOWN HERE. WE WERE IN BOURN, IN SANDWICH, IT WAS REALLY SOMETHING TO SEE. PEOPLE WERE LITERALLY STOPPING ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THEY COULDN’T DRIVE, DIDN’T WANT TO TAKE THE RISK. BUT NOW THE RAIN HAS LET UP.
