VAST in de STORM Tsunami gebied – THAILAND Episode 5 || Takiany Travel Video

Hello, and welcome to the fifth part of our trip to Thailand. After spending a few days in Bangkok,
it was time to go to another destination. It was a 5 hours drive by car once we reached
‘Prachuap Khiri Khan’ This area was affected by a tsunami in 2004 It’s rains too hard ! I need to go back ! And I need to put my camera away…
otherwise I’ve got a broken one… ” A new area… which mostly means, new adventures. ” ” The first night wasn’t going as we planed. ” ” There was a huge thunderstorm and the power stopped working. ” ” We also went to an underground buddha cave … ” ” some local temples, ” ” and to places where you normally don’t come as a tourist. ” ” But for now … let’s jump back to our first night in this area ! ” So, we’ve arrived … … to our next destination. It’s somewhere at the beach in the middle of nowhere … It’s not a touristic place at all … and … almost everything lives wild here. There are wild dogs … cats … snakes … lizards and other reptiles … It’s all wild … There are even coconut trees in front of our house. and … that’s crazy, you know … The climate here is totally different,
it’s like always 30 grades degree. Yet, it’s always damp here. There are thunderstorms every night. When it gets light tomorrow, we can explore everything here. Okay, I was thinking about taking a shower … … but then I noticed the warm water works with electricity ! It’s really heated by electricity! Water and electricity aren’t the best combinations … This provides cold water. It goes trough here … then it’s heated by this element. and then it goes back. and you’ve got a warm shower. It’s an electric heater. How can this even be safe? ” While Takiany was taking a shower it started to storm harder. ” ” but, there was still me who needed to take a shower too… ” ” Unfortunately, I was unlucky. ” Okay, the power just stopped… … aww, It stopped working for the second time now. I’m glad to have my camera-light. Oemmie was just taking a shower. And the power’s failed for the second time now. There’s a thunderstorm going on. We have no longer power inside this house. There’s a huge storm outside … … probably there isn’t power in the entire village. The door … is … … moving Everything is moving here due the storm. I just noticed that we can’t even close the windows. This was hanging on the handle Really? Yes, I think they wanted to tie it up. Did you … broke it somehow … No, no … it was just here … it was hanging here. A few hours ago there was just nothing going on with this. How’s it even possible… … nothing was wrong with the window. – Wait … see … It should be closed now. – Yes, but it isn’t closed at all … it’s broken now ! – It’s all damaged here ! – Oh my God … you kidding me?! – Just trie to pull it this way … otherwise it will fall. Almost everything is broken in here … – This should not be … – We wanted to rent a small house … … but I don’t think this is a good experience. The only light we’ve got now is the camera-light.
I didn’t bring other flashlights. I’m glad my camera has IR night-vision. On a side note … … the thing you see in front of me is a Thai brush. They’re different from ours. Be aware that we don’t have an airconditioning tonight. – Yes, I know… Say hello to a 33grades night. Maybe the temperature cools down by the thunderstorm. – I’m not sure about that … And we have a broken window in the house … The electricity cabinet is open, it’s all wet from the rain. Off-course there’s a power failure… I ain’t going to touch it … There isn’t electricity over the entire village. Probably this caused the problem … because this cabinet is open and all wet … I thought it was weird when it was open earlier. so it’s all wet … that can cause a short circuit…
and then BAM ! I don’t think the other people in the village will like my story… The other problem is …
we can’t contact someone ! There’s no service ! We have a little reception , sometimes … But we can’t call anyone. It stops … I can’t reach other people. Here we are … in the middle of nowhere. Is your power bank empty? – I don’t know ! – Let me see … I have one too … – You don’t need to film all of this …
it will attract evil spirits. – Please babe … I know this isn’t funny, but you’ll have to know … – YES, but don’t film everything ! – Honey ! You now this is a cool video, right? – No ! – I know this ain’t funny… – What do you mean?! Cool video ? ! – Come on please … – This is really a problem, don’t you see? The window can fly away in the storm ! – Then, look it from the good side … tomorrow they’ll come here to fix all of this. – FIX THIS !? – Well I’m not sure that they’ll fix it … but you know 😂 ! My power-bank is full ” It just goes to show that it’s not always rosy. ” ” But in the end everything went well ” ” We could start our next adventure … ” ” Our better said …
Takiany’s adventure was about to begin. ” “I could see a temple in the distance while I was walking on the beach.” ” My goal for today was to visit this temple. ” ” But of-course … It went different from what I expected… ” There’s something strange over here … … some kind of gravestone. Seems like someone is buried here. Or that’s at least what I think … I can’t read it. It just looks like a tomb. I really don’t know what it else would be. But let’s continue our way to the hills, to see if we can reach the temple. I think it’s cool. This is like a homemade playground. It’s so difficult to what we know … I don’t think they know a real playground here …
they made it theirselves. just some , ropes , wood , …. The craziest part is … there are some parts from old TV’s in the woods. You know what it is … … when I walk through the woods … I’ve got told, that there are snakes out there. There are snakes , crocodiles … … and other things . ” In the meantime, the wind started to blow harder. ” ” A new storm was about to come ! ” Here we’ve got a coconut. They’re growing in the trees here. In our country we have pine trees in the forrest …
but here they have woods of coconut trees You see the coconuts … ” This is how we clearly notice that the lifestyle isn’t the same all over the world. ” ” suddenly, I saw something… that was rare to see. ” ” a herd of accompanied Thai-cows at the beach. She’s luring some cows over the beach. One of her cows is coming to me … To be honest… I’m not sure … if those are gravestones …
I think it are property boundaries. This is another domain … and there’s such a stone again. I bet the cow finds me interesting… lol I’m walking for a long time now …
it looks closed than it really is… I don’t think that I can climb that hill. It’s pretty dangerous to climb in next to the sea. So, It might be a better option to use this field, and try to get up there. but … The temperature is rising … the clouds are getting darker … … so , I think there will be another storm soon. A storm here isn’t like a storm in our country. If it storms here … then it really storms… You don’t want to fall in here … it hurts. It’s already there … The storm is coming! I can feel it I’m not going to the top of the hill. It’s raining too … so I’m going to make some shots of the sea-rocks. It’s raining… I’ve to go back …
I’ll put my camera away for now. otherwise I’ve got a broken one. I’ve found someones cottage … I can hide a bit here. It really don’t have a roof … It’s still so far … And I’m all wet ! I put my camera away ! ” That was the video for this week ! ” ” Do you want to know how this ends? ” ” then watch Takiany next-week! ” In next episode :
we’re going to an underground Buddha-cave and I’ll show you some real Thai-rituals and temples. Is your photo a success, Oemmie? – Yes, but you can’t see the sea… The Thai country flag !

  3. Thank you guys for the great video?. It must be so dificult, the weather is so diferent and unpredicted! It would be dificult for me because I'm used to great weather here in Lisbon☀The thunderstorms are realy scary, especially with no electricity. And it seams that nothing works as it should, but I'm sure you are having a good time in that beautifull country. Love the videos?
    Be safe

  4. Best vacation yet! Why? Because it always rain on vacation! But anyway the temple look very big and the colors really stands out. One more thing this can be a life saver water is a conductor water draws in electricity you were taking a risk using the shower if lightening itself had struck
near the house or on the house lightening travels in the water. Water is a conductor. Oh well a very good video!
